Welcome to Class 5C!

I can't wait for us to learn so many great things together!

Mr Curragh is the class teacher.

Mrs Scutt will be helping us each day.

Class Information:

Indoor PE: Wednesday afternoon with Mr Murphy (white t-shirt, blue shorts and pumps - pumps can be left in children's lockers during the week and changed into on a Wednesday afternoon.)

Outdoor PE: Friday afternoon (Blue tracksuit bottoms, white t-shirt and blue hoodie.)

Spelling test: Friday morning

Homework will be set every Friday and is due in the following Friday.

Homework tasks will be set each week on Spelling Shed and MyMaths, with spellings being given out in class also.

Staged reading books can be changed in class as long as you have read it at home and your reading diary has been signed by a grown-up. 

Everyone will choose a school library book to keep in their tray for reading time, but you can also bring in a book from home to read in school too! 

Autumn Term

During the Autumn Term we will be learning all about the Ancient Maya in History, Mapping and Ocean Currents in Geography, and Materials and their Properties in Science. We will be exploring the wonderful world of Blues in Music and, as always, having lots of brilliant PE lessons on a Wednesday and Friday afternoon.
